The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has marked exactly three years since assuming office, reaffirming the party’s commitment to discipline, unity, and results-driven leadership as it works towards delivering transformational change for Ghanaians.
In a statement to commemorate the milestone, Mr. Kwetey said leadership must ultimately be measured by outcomes, stressing that the NDC has, over the period, made decisive strides aimed at freeing Ghana from misrule and restoring hope to the people.
“Leadership is ultimately measured by results, and together we have made decisive strides—freeing Ghana from the grip of misrule and restoring hope to our people,” he stated.

The NDC General Secretary noted that the party remains firmly on course and poised to deliver the transformational change required to achieve shared prosperity for all Ghanaians. According to him, discipline, unity, and focus continue to be the guiding principles driving the party’s progress.
Mr. Kwetey expressed deep gratitude to party delegates who entrusted the current leadership with the mandate three years ago. He also paid glowing tribute to the party’s leadership and structures, including President John Dramani Mahama, the party’s leader, Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and party executives and members at all levels from the branches and constituencies to the national leadership.
“I extend my deepest gratitude to the delegates who entrusted us with this mandate three years ago. I also express special appreciation to our Leader, H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, our Chairman, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and all party executives and members. Your loyalty and commitment continue to fuel our collective resolve,” he said.
Reiterating the party’s resolve going forward, Mr. Kwetey assured supporters that the NDC will safeguard the gains made and fully deliver on its mandate to secure the future of the party and the nation.
