Few people at GFA feed on FIFA money, leave clubs, referees & players hungry – Dr. Nduom

Businessman and a politician Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, has stated that the reason for decline in Ghana’s football success is as a result of few people at top feeding big on FIFA money.

The Bank roller of Elmina Sharks has emphasized that only a few people at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) enjoy the money brought in by FIFA neglecting the clubs, referees, and players.

The politician made these comments after the unfortunate demise of an Ashanti Kotoko Fan at Nsoatre. The fan identified as Francis Frimpong, also known as Pooley, was stabbed to death at the Nana Koroman II Stadium during a match between Ashanti Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC.

Dr Nduom concludes the FA needs a serious overhaul not withstanding the action taken by the FA in addressing the sad incident. The FA will meet with the Ghana Premier League clubs on Thursday, February 6, while a meeting with the supporters leadership is also schelduled for February 7.

“The GFA needs a serious overhaul. A few people at the top feed on FIFA money and leave the clubs, referees and players hungry.

“What are we waiting for? More deaths, bankruptcies and Black Stars losses?” he quizzed on his Facebook.
