Women and children development advocate, Ms Fafali Nyonator who dragged government to the Supreme Court last year challenging the removal of Mrs Charlotte Osei as the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) has picked form to contest for the Parliamentary Candidate of the opposition NDC in Ho Central Constituency in the Volta Region.
Fafali Nyonator is the only female of the six (6) candidates challenging the incumbent Member of Parliament for Ho Central, Mr. Benjamin Komla Kpodo.
Speaking to Awake News shortly after picking the form, Ms. Fafali believe it is time someone that has the interest of the constituency at heart to lead the NDC in the constituency and present the true voice of the people in parliament.
Who Is Fafali Nyonator?
Fafali is interested in Charity work with special focus on Women and children. She is the founder of FALI’s Foundation International, an organization that gives hope to the hopeless with specific focus on girl child education, women empowerment, community health outreaches, engaging orphanages and children affected by streetism productively.
Ms Nyonator is a 2017 MILEAD Fellow, being one of the 24 young women leaders in Africa and was also honoured as a 2018 WOMEN DELIVER Young Leader as one of the young leaders in the world. She is also a FRIEDRICH-EBERT-STIFTUNG Young Leader.
Currently she is the Ambassador for West Africa Breaking Barriers for Ghana.
