Eleven Wonders to Boycott Remaining Matches Over Unpaid Salaries

Players of Eleven Wonders Football Club have planned not to train this week and also boycott the remaining games in the Ghana Premier League over unpaid salaries.

The team’s management is yet to address these financial concerns, prompting the players to refuse participation in training from tomorrow, Tuesday, if the issue remains unresolved ahead of their matchday 24 fixture against Nations FC at home.

According to a reliable source, players have not received salaries since December 2025, and for the past three months, players have been left to feed and cater for their needs.

The club’s poor performance in the second round has yielded only one win and six defeats in their last seven matches.

Currently ranked 18th in the league standings with 9 points, Wonders is set to face off against Nations FC in Accra this weekend.

The issue of player welfare is evident after Odartey Lamptey and J.E. Sarpong all exited the club after months of taking over as head coaches.

Wonders’ chances of retaining their spot in the league look very slim, and if this issue is not addressed soon, it could severely hamper the team’s chances of surviving.

Head coach Emmanuel Aidoo must find a resolution quickly to prevent potential damage to his squad’s morale and future prospects in the competition.
