Election 2020: Sogakope hawkers emboss Mahama’s stickers on their breads

A group identifying itself as the Sogakope NDC Barrier Caucus has begun embossing stickers of the main opposition National Democratic Congress flagbearer John Dramani Mahama on their Bread to solicit votes for him ahead of the December 7 polls.

These people who sell bread at the barrier revealed to Awake News that they chose that strategy to educate their consumers on how to vote properly come 7th December and also as a strategy of campaigning for the best flagbearer.

They emphasised that their aim is to reduce the number of spoilt ballot papers and also ensure a vast margin of defeat of the lying President Nana Akuffo-Addo who believes in talking but not works.

Talking about the duration for such initiative and cost of producing those stickers with the number two position and picture of John Dramani Mahama and the NDC emblem, they told Awake News it was a self-financing initiative and they shall continue until they think they have done enough.

A member of the group Dzifa Edem noted that the flagbearer of the NDC for whose sake they are educating voters and campaigning for with that strategy is a promise keeper and hardworking president who has done it before and shall do it again come 2021 – 2025.

Dzifa further stated that John Dramani Mahama brought health care to their doorstep with the Onuadour mobile tracks, including health centres he built around her constituency South Tongu. John Mahama also constructed roads and implemented his free cocoa fertilizers, which her father benefited from, she added.

In addition, she indicated her daughter who was in class two (2) benefited from the one textbook-per-student and the free school uniforms policy under the erstwhile Mahama government, which is the reverse under President Nana Akuffo Addo.

However, Dzifa took a swipe at President Nana Akuffo-Addo and his party, the NPP, reiterating they assume flowery English as achievement and keeps trying to hoodwink Ghanaians with their poorly implemented Free S.H.S. she said ” anytime someone laments of bad roads, increase in transport fairs, the NPP tells you free S.H.S. They even lie Mahama will cancel Free S.H.S meanwhile Mahama started progressive Free S.H.S, was Free S.H.S the only problem in Ghana ?, 2020 Mahama Afa”!.
