Election 2020: EC reveal seats won by the political parties

The Electoral Commission(EC) recent parliamentary results released reveal that the New Patriotic Party has won 137 parliamentary seats preceding the opposition National Democratic Congress which has won 136 seats.

The EC issued this statement on Thurday, December 10, 2020.

Earlier on, both the NPP and NDC affirmed that they have won majority seats in Parliament.

Figures from the Electoral Commission show that results from Sene West are pending as the poll executed in the constituency is being wangled.

Also, it reveals an independent candidate who won a parliamentary seat in the Fomena constituency of the Ashanti Region.

As the NDC stressed that it had won 140 parliamentary seats after close of polls on December 7, 2020, the NPP disagreed to the declaration.
