Edmund Agboh confirmed as MCE for Ga-East

Hon. Edmund Agboh has officially been confirmed as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Ga-East Municipal Assembly.

His nomination was expected by many, given his significant contributions to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2024 elections, as well as his strong leadership capabilities.

Hon. Agboh is well-regarded within his community and political circles for his experience and commitment to public service.

In an exclusive interview with Awake News, his wife confirmed the confirmation of his appointment, sharing her pride and excitement about his new role.

She spoke highly of Agboh’s dedication and his longstanding desire to serve the people of Ga-East with integrity and transparency.

Following his confirmation, Hon. Agboh expressed his deep gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for placing his trust in him and appointing him as MCE for Ga-East.

In a professional statement, Agboh said, “I am both humbled and honored by the opportunity to serve the people of Ga-East as their Municipal Chief Executive. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for his confidence in my leadership and for entrusting me with this important responsibility. I am fully committed to working collaboratively with the President, my colleagues, and all relevant stakeholders to ensure the continued development and progress of our community.”

He further emphasized that his priority will be to focus on improving infrastructure, enhancing local governance, and addressing the needs of the people of Ga-East. “I recognize the significant responsibility that comes with this position, and I assure the people of Ga-East that I will work tirelessly to meet their needs, promote unity, and foster sustainable development across the municipality,” Agboh stated.

His appointment is seen as a positive step toward the growth and development of the Ga-East Municipality.

Many are hopeful that under his leadership, the area will see improvements in areas such as education, healthcare, road infrastructure, and job creation.

The Ga-East community has high expectations for Hon. Agboh to bring about lasting change, and his supporters are eager to see his vision for the municipality come to fruition.

As MCE, Agboh will play a key role in facilitating the local government’s development plans and ensuring that the needs of his constituents are met.
