Edem Agbana engages NYA CEO on Youth Employment in Ketu North

The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Eric Edem Agbana, has paid a working visit to the Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Abdulai Ayariga, to discuss youth-focused interventions aimed at boosting skills development and employment opportunities.

According to the MP, the engagement centered on practical programmes that are already making an impact in the Ketu North Constituency and across the country.

Mr. Agbana expressed appreciation for the National Apprenticeship Programme, which is currently equipping about 125 young people in Ketu North with employable skills. He also commended the NYA for its support to the Ketu North Skills and Apprenticeship Programme, which is training more than 250 young people in various vocational trades.

The MP was further briefed on other strategic initiatives being pursued by the National Youth Authority to expand opportunities for young people nationwide, particularly in the areas of skills training, entrepreneurship, and job creation.

Reaffirming his commitment to youth empowerment, Mr. Agbana noted that as a young Member of Parliament, he remains dedicated to being a strong voice for the youth of Ghana and to supporting policies and partnerships that deliver measurable results.
