Economic Hardships: Ghanaians can’t afford 3 square meal a day – Osei Akoto

The Parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 general elections, Mr. Henry Osei Akoto has said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has bathed the country with rising economic hardships which has made most Ghanaians to grow Lean.

He indicated that the President Akufo-Addo led NPP government constant denial of the rising economic hardship has proven that the party was detached from the dire living conditions of the citizenry of which they can’t even afford 3 square meal a day.

Mr Akoto made this comments in an interview with Happy FM 98.9 when speaking on the serious economic woes Ghana is experiencing under the watch of Akuffo Addo/Bawumia led administration.

“Due to the mismanagement of the economy in the hands of NPP, how can one purchase a tin of ideal milk which is now 5ghc to mix it with kookoo to have a balanced diet” he said.

He further said, the economic challenges which has hit every Ghanaian and households are the direct effects of the mismanagement of the economy of the NPP cabals through reckless squandering of scarce resources to enrich themselves.

He stressed that, the government is not ready to end the hardships in the country it has become truly obvious in the circumstance that the only pragmatic way to rescue the country to is to vote out the NPP after their eight-year tenure in 2024, which will be in keeping with the established electoral trend since 1992
