Accra, Aug. 28, GNA – Transformation Empowerment and Rural Integration in Africa Foundation (TERIA Foundation) is to host a two-day EARLYFEST, a festival of education, arts and entertainment, at Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, Accra, from November 21, 2025.
A statement issued on Wednesday said the initiative was conceived by the Teria Foundation in partnership with the Ghana Tourism Authority and would be children-centered.
It said the festival would be held under the theme “Discovering Gifts and Talents at Early Years.”
The statement noted that the Ghana Tourism Authority would launch the opening ceremony and that leading figures from the arts and music industries would attend.
It stated that Dr Joanna Burch-Brown, Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol; Mr. Gideon Aryeequaye, Acting Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Agency; and Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi, President of Pan Africa Ghana (PAG) would feature among the guests.
Teria Foundation said the festival would be attended by students, teachers and art enthusiasts from across Ghana, other parts of Africa and the Diaspora to attend.
It added that the Africa Early Childhood Education Awards would honour staff from Sierra Leone, Kenya and Rwanda for their contributions to the foundation’s mission.
The statement explained that other programmes would include an Early Fashion show, in which students would present runway designs alongside celebrated fashion designers.
It would also include an Early Tour offering guided visits to Accra landmarks such as the James Town Lighthouse, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Nationalism Park.
