Abla Dzifa Gomashie has returned to her alma mater, St. Louis Secondary School, as Guest of Honour, delivering a powerful and reflective address to students on the theme “Nurturing Inner Beauty, Honoring Excellence.”
Speaking at the school on Saturday, the former student described the visit as deeply emotional, noting that St. Louis Secondary School remains a defining place where many young girls first discovered their identities and aspirations.

Reflecting on her formative years, she credited the school’s management, teaching and non-teaching staff for shaping her character through discipline, confidence-building and strong moral values. According to her, the lessons acquired at St. Louis went far beyond academic certificates and laid the foundation for a life of purpose and service.
She emphasised that true beauty is not rooted in outward appearance but in character; not in noise, but in purpose; and not in competition, but in service to others principles she said continue to guide her personal and professional journey.
Expressing gratitude, Ms. Gomashie thanked the school for the honour and for the role it played in shaping her life, reaffirming her appreciation with the words, “Dieu le Veut. God wills it.”
Her address was met with admiration from students and staff, serving as an inspiration for young girls to pursue excellence grounded in values, discipline and inner strength.
