The head pastor of Peniel Outreach Ministries International, Apostle Agyenim Boateng, has cautioned the delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to make the error of selecting Kennedy Agyapong as the party’s flagbearer.
The man of God argued that he (Kennedy Agyapong) has persistently exhibited his gross disrespect for the Church of God in Ghana, hence it is very foul to elect him as the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party.
In an interview, Apostle Agyenim Boateng disclosed that the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is the surest bet who can break the 8-year jinx, hence appealing to the delegates to vote for him massively.
He categorically stated that the Vice President is the NPP’s most strategic candidate and choice, who can save the party from going into opposition.
He said “I have a lot of respect for Hon. Kennedy Agyapong; however, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in Ghana, Kennedy Agyapong rose against the church and disgraced us, the men of God”.
He dared to disclose that if he were the sitting president, he would have collapsed “one-man churches in the country”.
Apostle Boateng reiterated that, if by mistake the delegates opt for Kennedy Agyepong as Presidential Candidate of the NPP, it would be a total doom for the incumbent NPP.
