Instead of calling out Prince Ofori, popularly known as Fante Comedy and other NPP TikTokers for their misbehavior, a former Vice President of the Republic of Ghana chose to celebrate and endorse what they did by inviting Fante Comedy to his campaign office in Accra.
Fante Comedy was arrested on Tuesday, August 12, together with two others, in connection with allegations of issuing a death threat and publishing false news linked to the August 6 helicopter crash.
Fante Comedy, NPP North Tongu constituency women’s organizer was live on TikTok threatening to assassinate President Mahama, behead his wife, and put their bodies in a sack like those who died in the helicopter crash.
An Accra Circuit Court has granted bail to TikToker in the sum of GH¢100,000 with three sureties.
Yesterday, the former Vice President was seen in a viral video, seemingly happy as he hugged the TikToker that whom many raised concerns about he endorsing the actions of his followers instead of distancing himself from such actions.
“Someone who is a former Vice President and even wants to be President of Ghana is doing this? This is very disgraceful to our body politics,” – A Ghanaian said.
Social media critic, Bongo Ideas of also:
I’ve seen videos of Bawumia happy because of that guy, Fante Comedy. A guy who was walking around Circle as a part-time phone repairer, is not being hailed by a former vice president! Eeei!
This same guy hosted a live for people to threaten our President, yet, Bawumia, is hugging him? Herrr, during Nana Addo’s government, a guy was jailed just for insulting the president. He didn’t threaten o, just insult.
Fante Comedy, when you were in handcuffs, you looked like a rejected mannequin…buh you wanna still talk about President Mahama.
As for NPP, hope is finished, they only reward gyimie3. No wonder Hopeson Adorye says they need to be in opposition for 36 years.
