Director-General of SSNIT confirms on it’s decisions to disregard underperformed hotels

The Director-General of SSNIT, Kofi Bosompem Osafo-Maafo, has outlined a vision for the future of the Trust, emphasizing technology-driven solutions and strategic management to ensure the sustainability of the scheme.

SSNIT will not be pressured into quick fixes regarding its struggling hotels. Instead, the focus is on exploring various management strategies and incorporating stakeholder feedback to determine the best course of action for optimizing their performance.

SSNIT recognizes the vital role technology plays in enhancing service delivery and streamlining operations. The Trust is embracing digital platforms, AI, and data analytics to improve member and client experiences, optimize investment decisions, and promote transparency.

This initiative will provide members and clients with convenient access to SSNIT services through a new website, upgraded USSD platform, and a highly anticipated mobile app. These digital tools aim to boost active membership and facilitate regular contributions.

Osafo-Maafo emphasized the importance of strategic leadership and a workforce that can adapt to innovative measures. He assured employees that SSNIT will continue to motivate them to contribute to the scheme’s progress.

SSNIT is committed to aligning with global trends in pension scheme management, recognizing the need for constant innovation and adaptation to meet the evolving needs of members and clients.
