Head Coach of Hearts of Oak, Didi Dramani has described his side’s performance against Bechem United on Sunday as below par.
The Phobians hosted the Hunters at the University of Ghana Stadium on Match Day 21, hoping for a win to improve their chances of winning the league title at the end of the 2025/26 football season.
Despite dominating proceedings, Hearts of Oak could make judicious use of their chances and eventually settled for a goalless stalemate at full-time.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Didi Dramani shared his disappointment.
“For them, they will say it is a fair result because right from the onset we could see that is what they wanted to do. To sit and go on the breaks. We could have also lost the game because in such situations it is really tough. I think we were disappointing,” he said.
Despite dropping two valuable points, Hearts of Oak sit fourth in the Ghana Premier League standings with 36 points, one more than Asante Kotoko ahead of the Super Clash which is slated for Sunday, February 8 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Kotoko won 1-0 in the first leg, courtesy of a first half penalty from Donzo Mofering.
