Diana Hamilton
Celebrated Ghanaian gospel artist Diana Hamilton has released her latest single, Me Nyankopon Papabi (My Good God), a powerful anthem of gratitude and faith.
Blending contemporary highlife with modern global rhythms, the track was produced by award-winning music producer Kaywa, known for his long-standing collaboration with the gospel star. This marks Hamilton’s third release of the year, following He Loves Me and My Praise.
The official video, directed by McWillies of Flashbak Media, was shot at her family home in Afful Nkwanta, Kumasi. It recreates her modest beginnings, reinforcing the song’s message of divine upliftment.
“This is a testimony of God’s goodness; a reminder that no matter your background, God can lift you to higher ground,” said Hamilton at the release.
Kaywa has produced some of Hamilton’s most iconic songs including Mo Ne Yo, W’asem, and Work In Progress, and this latest track continues their successful musical journey.
A trained nurse turned music powerhouse, Diana Hamilton made history in 2021 as the first female gospel artist to win Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Her hits like Eye Woa, Yehowa Behwe, and Mo Ne Yo have made her a household name.
Me Nyankopon Papabi is now available on all major streaming platforms.
