The De Mayor Foundation has marked this year’s Valentine’s Day with an outreach to the Akropong School for the Blind, donating assorted items to support students of the institution.
The team was led by John Evans Kumordzi, Municipal Chief Executive for Akuapem North, as part of the Foundation’s routine charitable activities aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and promoting inclusion in society.
During the visit, the Foundation presented essential food items, including bags of rice, soft drinks, beverages, and other supplies to enable the students to celebrate the occasion in a joyful atmosphere. The gesture, according to the Foundation, was intended to demonstrate love, compassion, and solidarity with the students, while reminding them that they remain valued members of the Ghanaian community.
Management of the Foundation noted that caring for the less privileged continues to be a central part of its mission, adding that such initiatives reflect its commitment to community service and social responsibility.

The Foundation expressed appreciation to the students and management of the school for the warm reception given to the delegation.
It also acknowledged the contributions of its sponsors and supporters, whose assistance made the outreach possible. They include Sammy Gyamfi, Chief Executive Officer of Goldbod; Richard Nunekpeku, Deputy CEO of Goldbod; Mr. Osei of Kupe Dee Company Ltd; Nana Kwame Adjei Enti; Raes Diamond of Afrimex Gold; and Frank Obrempong of Ahafo Ano North and Sesi-Edem Company Ltd.
Through such acts of kindness, the De Mayor Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to promoting love, unity, and humanitarian service across communities.
