COVID-19: President Akufo-Addo addresses the nation night

President Akufo Akufo is set to come to the homes of Ghanaians again tonight to update the public on measures taken by the government on the deadly coronavirus.

Since the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country in March 2020, the country has so far recorded 42,210 positive cases with 231 death and 40,147 recoveries.

The total active cases as of today according to the Ghana Health Services stands at 1,832.

Today’s “Fellow Ghanaians” address, the President is expected to ease further restriction on movement including opening the borders of Ghana from September 1, 2020.
