Constitutional Review C’ttee to brief President Mahama on their progress on Monday 

The Constitutional Review Committee (CRC) will on Monday, November 24, brief President John Dramani Mahama on the progess of their work at the Presidency in Accra. 

The eight-member team chaired by Professor H. Kwasi Prempeh, Executive Director of Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) was inaugurated by President Mahama to work towards the review of the 1992 constitution.

A member of the Committee told the Ghana News Agency in Accra that the briefing would take place at 13 hours on Monday at the Presidency.

Other members of the committee are Justice Sophia Adinyira, a former Supreme Court Judge; Professor Kwame Karikari; Mrs Charlotte Osei; Dr Godwin Djokoto; Ibrahim Tanko Amidu; Dr Esi Ansah; and Dr Rainer Akumperigeya.

The Committee, which was inaugurated on January 30, by the President was initially supposed to present its findings to him in August, but due to the huge volume of the task, it asked for an extension of three more months.
