Speaking at the Kwahu Business Forum, Mr Debrah said the growing number of young people in the country required practical opportunities for employment and economic participation.
He noted that while motivation and encouragement are important, they must be matched with concrete actions that provide sustainable livelihoods for the youth.
“Our young people do not merely need inspiration; they need real pathways to work, productivity, ownership and dignity,” he said.
Mr Debrah emphasised the need to restructure the economy through increased investment in key sectors, particularly manufacturing, which he described as a major driver of job creation.
He explained that expanding industrial activities would create employment opportunities across various sectors, including agriculture, logistics, and services.
The Chief of Staff urged stakeholders to focus on policies that deliver measurable results, adding that addressing youth unemployment was critical to national development.
The Kwahu Business Forum brought together business leaders, investors, and policymakers to discuss strategies for strengthening the economy and promoting job creation.
