Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr. Mornyuie stated that the initiative reflects the commitment of the government and the district assembly to ensure that vulnerable groups are not left behind in the development process.

He emphasized that inclusion remains a key pillar of the ruling party’s development policy, noting that empowering persons with disabilities is critical forcing equitable growth at the grassroots level.

The Central Tongu DCE further disclosed that the assembly will, in the coming days, roll out start-up support for beneficiaries who have applied, to help promote self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.

Mr. Mornyuie reaffirmed the government’s resolve to continue prioritizing social intervention programmes that directly improve the lives of the people, particularly the vulnerable, across Central Tongu and beyond.
