The Council of Ewe Associations of North America (CEANA) has commissioned and handed over an ultra-modern library and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laboratory to the Anloga community in the Volta Region.

The facility was officially handed over on March 20, 2026, by Togbi Agbelorm Agbotokor II, Dufia of Salo/Sokutsime and CEANA’s representative in Ghana, who led a delegation of the association’s executives to the ceremony.
The newly constructed library and ICT laboratory are expected to provide a conducive environment for teaching, learning, and research, thereby improving academic performance and literacy levels among students in the area.
CEANA has over the years played a significant role in community development through the provision of educational and health infrastructure, as well as scholarships for needy but brilliant students, reaffirming its commitment to uplifting communities in the Volta Region.
Speaking at the event, Togbi Zewu, Dufia of Anloga and Demefiaga of the Anlo Kingdom, commended CEANA for the intervention but appealed to the association to support the redevelopment of Torkor Atorlia, a historical site of the Anlo Kingdom, to help preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Anlo people.
The project marks another milestone in CEANA’s efforts to bridge development gaps and enhance educational opportunities in underserved communities.
