The Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Amos Blessing Amorse has called on “the NPP, particularly Dr Bawumia, should call Patrick Yaw Boamah of Okaikwei Central and Mike Ocquaye Jr of Dome Kwabenya to accept the reality that they have lost their bid to enter parliament.”

In a Facebook post the vicious youth leader said “We have run out of patience and if by midnight they [Patrick Yaw Boamah and Mike Ocquaye Jr] do not stop the antics to allow the EC to declare Baba Sadiq and Elikplim Akurugu winners of the election, we should not be blamed for the inevitable.”

According to Mr. Amorse “The NDC has won Okaikwei Central and Dome Kwabenya convincingly in both the presidential and parliamentary elections” and that “Nothing can be done to change it.”

“Jean Mensah too should order her officers to go ahead and declare the results as collated last night. I repeat, we have run out of patience.” – he added

Mr. Amorse ceased the moment to call on the Ghana Police Service to release two of their supporters.

“To add, we demand the immediate release of two of our innocent supporters being held by the Police. The real criminals to arrest were Patrick Boamah’s brigands who invaded the collation centre to disrupt the process” – he said
