Businessman and Pastor of The Rohi Church, Emmanuel Mefful, says he is committed to helping build and develop Ashaiman into a hub every constituent expects it to be.

According to him, the good people of Ashaiman deserve every share of the national cake pertaining to development, but the plights of the people have not been resolved, making Ashaiman one of the underdeveloped communities in Ghana.

He stressed that, though he has and continues to contribute his quota to Ashaiman, having established businesses that have employed over 1000 people, his over two decades of stay in Ashaiman have been coupled with a series of empty promises when it has to do with development.

Speaking in an interview during the Ayawaso East by-election on Tuesday, Pastor Mefful, who is also a philanthropist, declined to speak on political grounds; reiterating his intentions to help build Ashaiman to the expectation of everyone.

“I’ve been in Ashaiman for over two decades, and I’ve invested a lot in Ashaiman and built businesses in Ashaiman that have employed over 1000 people in Ashaiman. We have not seen the kind of development we want to see in Ashaiman. So I’m out now trying to see how we can help build Ashaiman and make it a place where we can all expect it to be”,  he told AwakeNews in an interview.

When quizzed on what his political ambitions are for the people of Ashaiman, having seen and  shown his intense involvement in youth events and community engagements, the HotJobs CEO stated emphatically his directions are unknown but believes Ashaiman has a bright future.

“So as it stands now, I can’t tell where I’m going with this, but I can tell you that the future is very bright for Ashaiman,” he added.
