Dancehall Artistes, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have been arrested by the Greater Accra Regional Police Command following the chaos that happen during the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards this morning around 1am.
The two, according to the Greater Regional Police Commander, DCOP Patrick Adusei Sarpong they have been detained and will be arrange before court on Tuesday.
Background:
The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Award has turned chaotic as Shatta Wale stormed the stage when Stonebwoy was called to receive the Raggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
Stonebwoy feared the crowed that came on the stage with his “rival” Shatta Wale and pulled his pistol.
It was not immediately known the motive behind Shatta Wale’s climbing to the stage but he later this morning said that his intention was to go congratulate Stonebwoy and make peace with him but was misjudged hence the chaos.
Sonebwoy on the other hand said Shatta Wale’s twist and comments before the award night resulted into the fear and the event that followed his coming up stage.
