A number of people have seriously been injured by gunshots, at the Polling Station Elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Asene Akroso Manso Constituency in the Eastern Region.Information reaching Awake News indicates that there was a display of pump-action guns by some unknown men.
An eyewitness Mr. Kwaku Owusu Adjei said the shootings have injured a number of people, who are receiving treatment at the Akim-Oda hospital.
Describing the situation as an eyesore, Mr. Owusu Adjei said a greater number of people were seen running for their lives amidst heavy gunshots.
