Former President of Nigeria, Muhammdu Buhari is dead – this is according to his former aide, Bashir Ahmad who announced his passing of the former president on X account.

He wrote: “The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London. May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus. Amin.”
Muhammadu Buhari GCFR is a Nigerian retired politician who served as the president of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023. He is a retired Nigerian army major general who was the military head of state of Nigeria from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985.
He died at age 82
