The Suame Constituency Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, Umar Saeed has been attacked by some group of men believed to be members of his party, NDC.
According to sources in the Constituency, Mr. Saeed’s attack is as a result of some dispute within the party.
He is said to have suffered several machete wounds on his entire body after the attack. He is currently on admission at the health facility in Kumasi and in critical condition.
