Bournemouth set high price for Semenyo amid transfer interest

Bournemouth is reportedly set to demand a club-record fee to sell forward Antoine Semenyo this summer, following interest from top Premier League clubs.

The Cherries have enjoyed a strong season under manager Andoni Iraola, and several of their key players could attract attention in the upcoming transfer window.

Centre-back Dean Huijsen, whose contract includes a £50m release clause, is being targeted by both Chelsea and Real Madrid. Left-back Milos Kerkez is a major target for Liverpool and has hinted at wanting to move on in a recent interview.

Semenyo, who has impressed with nine goals and six assists in all competitions, has caught the attention of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to The Athletic, Semenyo does not have a release clause in his contract, so Bournemouth will set the price for his transfer. While no specific fee is mentioned, the club intends to make Semenyo their most expensive sale ever.

Currently, Bournemouth’s record transfer is the £65m sale of striker Dominic Solanke to Tottenham last summer. Any club interested in Semenyo will need to surpass that amount if they wish to secure his services.

The futures of Huijsen, Kerkez, and Semenyo are intertwined, with Bournemouth unlikely to allow all three to leave. Among the trio, Huijsen is seen as the most likely to depart due to his release clause, while if Kerkez leaves, the club will actively try to keep Semenyo.
