James Gunu, former DCE, Akatsi North
The Volta Regional Secretary Hopeful of the opposition NDC has admonished Muslim and all youth to stay away from tramodol.
According to Hon. James Gunu, tramadol abuse is becoming a worrying canker for the Ghanaian Community, especially among the youths. He is, therefore, calling on the Muslim youths (Zongo Communities) to resist the attempt of the use of the illicit drug.
“Taking of one innocent life is like taking all of mankind and saving of one life, is like saving all of mankind; Koran 5:3”
“As we celebrate Eid-Adhar, it is important we are critical of things that can jeopardize our lives. Let’s beware of tramadol, it is an enemy to the Zongo communities, let’s not welcome this dangerous drug into our homes.” he said.
“Let the rituals and sacrifices of this sacred celebration have an impact on our lives. I wish you all Eid-Mubarak”.
The former Akatsi North DCE is also in the race the the Volta regional secretaryship of the National Democratic Congress, the NDC.
“In some few days, we shall be electing our regional executives to serve that party, and work to bring the great NDC back to power in 2020.” he added.
“I want each and every Zongo Youth to stay strong and healthy to witness and celebrate my victory and that of the NDC in 2020”.
