Baba Jamal Has No Track Records to Lead Ayawaso East – Yusif Ali

The National Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso East, Baba Yusif Ali, says his opponent, Baba Jamal of the NDC, has no track record to lead the good people of the Ayawaso East Constituency.

According to him, his opponent once failed the people of Akwatia when he was given a four-year mandate.

Adding that, having failed in Akwatia, there is no room to accommodate him in Ayawaso.

Briefing journalists on Thursday after filing his nomination, Yusif Ali said, “Someone who could not make it in Akwatia was given the chance; he could not make it, and that is how come he is in Ayawaso East.” ”.

“So clearly we are going to talk about his records, the four-year mandate they gave him in Akwatia as against what he intends to do in Ayawaso East,” he stressed.

Yusif Ali, who doubles as the General Secretary of the NPP for the constituency, says he knows and understands the plights of the people, and he remains the best candidate to bring change and development to the community.

“We have been in Ayawaso East; we know the challenges, areas, and everything, and so we are going to take advantage of that and let the people know the kind of solutions we have to bring on board and change the entire constituency,” he added.

He called on all members, supporters, and sympathizers of the NPP to rally solidly behind him, who represented the party’s best opportunity to ensure victory in the parliamentary election fixed for March 3, 2026.

The Director of Elections of the NPP, Evans Nimako and the MP for Weija-Gbawe, Jerry Ahmed Shuaib joined Yusif Ali to file his nomination.
