The newly elected Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Baba Jamal, has dedicated his decisive by-election victory to his 93-year-old mother, Mimi, whose long-standing wish to see him return to Parliament has finally been fulfilled.

Mr. Jamal said his mother had always prayed and hoped that he would once again serve the people in Parliament, describing the victory as a special moment for his family.

According to him, the triumph in the Ayawaso East by-election was not only a political achievement but also the fulfilment of a personal promise to his mother.
