Ayawaso by-election: NDC’s Kwasi Brempong launches campaign tomorrow

The Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon of the opposition NDC, Mr. Kwasi Brempong is set to launch his campaign for the upcoming by-election tomorrow at the Minpeasem Community Centre in Accra.

The Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat has been declared vacant following the sudden demise of the NPP MP, Emmanuel Boakye Agyarko has been on the seat since 2012.

Mr. Brempong after seeking the NDC primaries is set to meet the widow of late Agyarko, Lydia Alhassan who has also been elected by the NPP the run for the by-election.

Mr. Kwasi Delali Brempong polled 415 votes to become the NDC’s candidate whiles Ms. Lydia Alhassa secured 441 votes to represent the ruling NPP.
