Avoid pettiness, support gov’t appointees – NDC Chairman to members

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has called on party faithful across the country to rise above pettiness and fully support government appointees in the discharge of their duties.

Speaking to party members during his Bono Regional Thank-You Tour, Mr. Asiedu Nketia emphasized that internal cohesion and collective responsibility are critical to the success of the NDC-led government. He cautioned against internal attacks, rivalry, and actions that undermine appointed officials, stressing that such conduct weakens the party and distracts from governance.

According to him, government appointees represent the collective mandate of the party and must be supported to deliver on the promises made to Ghanaians. He urged members to channel grievances through appropriate party structures rather than public confrontations.

The NDC National Chairman reaffirmed that unity, discipline, and cooperation remain essential if the party is to successfully implement its policies and maintain public confidence in governance.
