Ato Forson: We restored Ghana’s economic stability in less than 200 days

Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson says Ghana has successfully restored economic confidence, stability, and direction in less than 200 days of the current administration.

Presenting the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament on Thursday, Dr. Forson highlighted that swift fiscal and policy reforms have helped rebuild trust in the economy.

“In less than 200 days, we have brought back clarity, certainty, stability, and purpose to our economic policy,” he stated.

Dr. Forson stressed that the results are not just on paper but are being “felt, seen, and experienced” by businesses, households, and investors alike.

He said the administration’s targeted interventions are driving a visible recovery and are already restoring hope across sectors of the economy.
