Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has officially assumed his new role as Board Chairman of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA).

The swearing-in ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Also inducted was Professor Ransford Gyampo, Acting CEO of the Ghana Shippers Authority, who now joins the GPHA board as a member.
These appointments aim to strengthen GPHA’s governance and provide strategic leadership for the development of Ghana’s port infrastructure.
The newly constituted board is tasked with steering policy direction, improving operational efficiency, and overseeing infrastructure expansion across the country’s major port facilities.
