Asante Kotoko to resume training after 18 days break

Asante Kotoko has announced that they will resume training on Wednesday, 19th February 2025, after a long break from football.

The last 18 days have been all about mourning the late staunch supporter of the Porcupine Warriors, Yaw Frimpong Francis, popularly known as Pooley, who a yet-to-be-identified hooligan in Nsoatre criminally murdered.

Since Pooley’s demise, the top-flight football in Ghana has been suspended, with the two big clubs demanding sanity before the league resumes.

Asante Kotoko will start training on Wednesday at Adako Jachie to keep the squad physically and mentally sound even though they are not returning to competitive action soon.

Fans can troop to the Adako Jachie Training Complex and have a look at their beloved Kotoko train amidst their quest to seek justice for the late Pooley.
