Antoine Semenyo nominated Premier league Player of the month

Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for March. AFC Bournemouth striker has been nominated alongside six others for the March 2024 EA SPORTS Player of the Month award.

Antoine Semenyo was in top form for The Cherries in the month under review. He put in outstanding performances during the month with three goals in four matches. The former Bristol City man scored in Bournemouth’s impressive 2-0 away victory against Burnley. He then followed that up with a prolific performance against Luton Town that saw the Cherries come from 0-3 down to win 4-3. Semenyo scored twice in that game.

In total, AFC Bournemouth went through March without a defeat as they won three and drew one of the four matches played.

The Ghanaian talisman also provided an assist to Justin Kluivert in Bournemouth’s win over Crystal Palace, ensuring the Cherries are sitting 11th on the league table.

Meanwhile, the Ghanaian has strong competition for the gong from Arsenal’s Ben White, Tottenham Hotspurs’ Son Heung-min and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer. Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, Rodrigo Muniz of Fulham and Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool are the other nominees.

Voting can be done on the Premier League’s website. It is open until April 8, 2024 at 12:00 BST.
