Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ mother is dead

Awake News can confirm that Mariam Damba, the mother of the ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is dead at age 62.

She is reported to have died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in the early hours of today, Saturday, February 10, 2018.

[ads1]Until her sudden demise, she was working at the Nima Polyclinic as a community health nurse. She is expected to be buried in accordance with Islamic Custom.

A close friend of Anas who confirmed the death to Awake News said the funeral arrangements would be announced later.
