Controversial musician and a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame A-Plus has taken to his facebook page to throw yet another blow to the to President Akufo-Addo saying he is “becoming the worse president ever” ruled Ghans also just an ordinary lying Ghanaian politician who made fake promises to win power”
Tagging a video on Facebook sighted by Awake News, in wich President Akufo-Addo then flagbearer of the opposition NPP, he [Akufo-Addo] is heard saying the electricity tariff at the time was too high and that if Ghanaians vote for him to win power, he will reduced the taffic.
However, recently, the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission has announced an upward review of electricity by 5.94% whiles water tariffs up by 2.22% bringing the combined increase to over 8%.
Government has also effective Otober 1, 2019, slapped Telecommunication companies with 9%increase in Communication Service Tax.
In an ealier statement by the Telcos the “CST, which is now at 9%, will be applied to any recharge purchase. For every ¢1 of recharge purchased, a 9% CST fee will be charged leaving ¢0.93 for the purchase of products and services.”
Not forgetting fuel price that has also gone up to GHc5.380 per litre and the doller rate winning the competition by making it to GHc5.4 which the NPP promised to reduce when they win power.
These might have pushed A Plus to open fire sayding “So is it that my own Nana Addo, the man I trusted so much is also just an ordinary lying Ghanaian politician who made fake promises to win power or he didn’t understand the actual situation on the ground when he was campaigning?”
