The Akatsi South Constituency Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has directed all Branch Secretaries to submit weekly reports on the ongoing membership registration exercise to the Constituency Secretariat and the Election Directorate.
A statement issued and signed by Mr. Francis D. Bedzo, Acting Constituency Secretary, said the directive formed part of measures to strengthen monitoring and ensure accurate data compilation at the constituency level.

It said the reports, which are to be submitted every Monday morning, must clearly indicate the number of males and females registered, as well as the total number of new members recorded in each branch.
The statement urged Branch Secretaries to forward the required data via WhatsApp or SMS and to clearly state their respective branches when submitting the information.
The Secretariat noted that two weeks of the registration exercise had already been completed and expressed expectation that all outstanding reports would be submitted promptly.
It further disclosed that a monitoring team would soon embark on visits to various branches within the constituency to assess the progress of work done so far.
The Secretariat commended branch executives for their efforts and called for continued commitment to ensure the success of the registration exercise.
