The Member of Parliament for Akatsi North, Hon. Peter Nortsu-Kotoe, has handed over a fully furnished two-unit Kindergarten (KG) block to the Amule Basic School.
The facility, commissioned earlier this morning, aims to enhance early childhood education infrastructure and provide a more conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers in the community.
The new KG block forms part of a broader education-focused initiative by the MP, under which six classroom blocks are being commissioned across the Akatsi North Constituency this week.
Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, Hon. Nortsu-Kotoe reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening education at all levels, noting that quality infrastructure remains a key pillar in enhancing teaching and learning outcomes.
Community leaders, education officials, teachers, and parents expressed appreciation for the project, describing it as a timely intervention that will significantly ease pressure on existing facilities and boost enrolment at the school.
