The Volta Regional Deputy Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Degadzor Bright, has described the Member of Parliament for Akatsi South, Rt. Hon. Bernard Ahiafor, as a national asset whose influence and contributions now extend beyond his constituency.
In a statement, Mr Degadzor Bright praised Hon. Ahiafor not only for his growing national stature, but also for his consistent delivery of development projects to the people of Akatsi South, which he said remains clear evidence of effective and people-centred leadership.

According to him, despite his increasing national responsibilities, Hon. Ahiafor has not lost touch with the needs of his constituents and continues to champion initiatives that improve infrastructure, livelihoods and access to basic services in Akatsi South.
“Hon. Ahiafor is now a national asset, not limited to only Akatsi South. However, we must commend the people of Akatsi South for giving the nation this precious asset, and also acknowledge his relentless efforts in bringing development to his constituency,” Mr Degadzor Bright stated.
He noted that ongoing and completed projects across the municipality reflect the MP’s commitment to translating his influence at the national level into tangible benefits for his constituents.
Mr Degadzor Bright added that Hon. Ahiafor’s leadership exemplifies how national service and constituency development can go hand in hand, describing him as a model public servant whose work continues to inspire confidence within the party and among the general public.
