The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, has once again demonstrated his commitment to community safety and development with the provision of 500 additional streetlights under his widely-praised #LightUpKetuNorth initiative.

Announcing the intervention on his official Facebook page, the MP explained that every electoral area within the constituency has been duly allocated streetlights to enhance visibility and security, especially as residents prepare to mark the Christmas and New Year festivities. He further stated that an extra 200 installations have been allocated to selected communities with urgent needs, ensuring that no area is left behind.

Since assuming office, Hon. Agbana has prioritized improving security infrastructure, and the streetlight initiative has been hailed by residents as a timely and impactful response to the concerns raised across the constituency.
Assembly members and community leaders have lauded the gesture, describing it as a relief that will support economic activity at night, reduce crime, and promote safer movement for residents.
Hon. Agbana reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that Ketu North remains a well-lit, secure, and welcoming environment for all, particularly during the festive period when social and commercial activities intensify.
The latest installation brings the total number of streetlights provided under the initiative to a remarkable figure, cementing the MP’s reputation as a responsive leader focused on practical community needs.
Ketu North residents are expected to benefit from the installations in the coming days as teams begin distribution and fixing across the constituency.
