The Member of Parliament for Afadzato South Constituency, Frank Afriyie, on Friday, January 30, 2026, carried out a surprise inspection tour of major development projects across his constituency as part of efforts to assess progress, ensure quality workmanship, and guarantee value for public funds.
The unannounced inspection covered several critical projects, including the renovation and expansion of a three-unit classroom block at Have Sadzikofe, the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound at Tafi Agome, and the ongoing works on the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) District Office at Ve Golokuati. The tour also took the MP to Golokuati, where final works on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) District Office have been completed and the facility is now ready for commissioning.
According to Mr. Afriyie, the inspection forms part of his firm commitment to routine monitoring and supervision of constituency projects, a strategy he believes is essential to ensuring quality execution, timely completion, and maximum benefit to residents of Afadzato South.
He emphasized that regular oversight remains a critical tool in safeguarding public resources and delivering development that meets the real needs of the people.
During the tour, the MP expressed his sincere appreciation to the Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency, Professor Nana Ama Browne Klutse, and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority, Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, for their strong institutional support and dedication to the successful establishment of these key public facilities.
Hon. Afriyie also conveyed profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama, commending his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to strengthening decentralised public service delivery across Ghana.
Reaffirming his resolve, the Afadzato South legislator assured constituents that he would continue to provide strict oversight of all development projects, stressing that effective monitoring remains central to achieving sustainable development and improved public service delivery in the constituency.
