Disclosed in a letter dated April 3, 2023 and signed by the Deputy Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) (Q&A), Dr Kwabena Bempah Tandoh, all Heads of Senior High Schools and Senior High Technical Schools are reminded that students should break for Easter celebration on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
The letter further explained that Heads of Second Cycle Schools running the Transitional Calendar should note that SHS One (1) students are to continue with their vacation until their scheduled re-opening in June, 2023.
The letter ended by calling on all Regional Directors of Education to ensure that “Heads of Senior High Schools in their respective regions take note and comply accordingly to facilitate the smooth running of the academic year”.
