The Kasoa divisional police command has arrested a 52-year-old woman for trading in drugs suspected to be marijuana or wee.

The suspect, identified as Amina Saeed was arrested at Kasoa Obom in the Awutu Senya East municipality in the Central region.

ACP David Agyeman Adjem addressing the press said the suspect was arrested during a swoop at Kasoa and its environs.

He said the police retrieved eight huge wraps of dry leaves suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs from her.
